2-3 mins Running on the spot, high knees, speed skaters etc.
PVC thoracic rotations & shoulder openers, hip openers

Red band shoulder warmups

Big BB snatch warmup (start with OHS & snatch balance)

WOD A
POWER SNATCH + HANG SNATCH
E2.5MOM x 7 sets (17.5 mins)
Sets 1&2: 3 Power snatches + 3 hang snatches
Sets 3&4: 2+2

Sets 5-7: 1+1

  • Start light and build to a heavy 1+1 in the complex

WOD A
SNATCH BALANCE X 2
In the remaining time in class, build to a heavy or max snatch balance double
*If you are newer to lifting and/or keeping the weight lighter to work technique, perform sets of 5 reps
