I have always been extremely active. Growing up I played 12 years of competitive soccer, as well as running track for 8 years. When I was 16 I qualified for provincials in the 1500m and 3000m events.
Running track for years made me extremely lean, until 4 years ago when I found & fell in love with CrossFit. It helped me find my healthy balance. It allowed me to have great conditioning but also develop & maintain a muscular physique that I felt good about. It was the perfect recipe of Strength & Conditioning.
After a couple years of doing CrossFit, I ramped up my focus and began training competitively. This meant devoting my full schedule to training, including diet/sleep/mobility/recovery etc. Starting my senior year of high school, I weighed around 120 lbs and was overall very weak. In the past 3 years of focused training I’ve added 40lbs of quality weight (muscle) through CrossFit training & proper diet.
I am a 3rd year Human Kinetics student at Capilano University. Alongside my academic schedule, I’ve been a personal trainer for 3 years. This evolved very naturally for me. A number of people I went to school with watched my own personal transformation and they began asking me to help them do the same. I am passionate about helping people reach their goals, and guide them with training, nutrition and lifestyle. Making positive changes in people’s lives has been such a motivating and rewarding path.
